The origins of MOBLES CASTANYER date back to when Cristóbal Castanyer founded a small carpentry workshop in the city of Sóller. This business, which has always been family-owned, has passed from generation to generation, and today the fourth and fifth generations are working in it.
In 1916, the first commercial store was opened, and today, it has six stores located between Mallorca (Sóller) and Madrid (Las Rozas), as well as a production workshop in the heart of Sóller. The tradition, family roots, and entrepreneurial spirit of the Castanyer Mobiliari team offer the highest level of professionalism in all their work on the island of Mallorca.
In 2005, MOBLES CASTANYER was honored by the ‘Cambra de Comerç de Mallorca’ in recognition of the quality and example set as a family business. More recently, in 2022, the company was awarded the Historic Commerce plaque for maintaining a business with more than 150 years of history.
